Translucent
Translucent color pools with an exquisite flow in this highly prized onyx quarried in either Afghanistan or Iran. On a ground of shifting greens that vary from pale pistachio to key lime to peridot, veins of blood orange, rose gold and terracotta seem to float across the surface and then dip into the depths of the stone itself.
It’s important to note that onyx, including green onyx, is a relatively soft and porous stone compared to other natural stones like granite or marble. This means it requires special care and maintenance to preserve its appearance and integrity over time. Sealing the surface and avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals or abrasive materials are typically recommended practices for maintaining green onyx slabs.
